Bar end Shifters will work with any derailleur?
Have nine speed cassette derailleur 9 speed obviously Shifters and end bar end of my Aero bars. I am ask for the sale of Aero bar that my friend which has 10 speed cassette, this will work? If it does not work, you will need new cables? If he wants to go backwards and forwards between its regular handlebar set Aero bar and set it will be difficult?
Your friend can use with 9sp barcons 10sp his cassette player, if he is willing to use them friction. Indexed relocation will be possible, but friction transfer easily, quickly and effortlessly. New Plan cables and possibly housing as well. Cost not enough to worry about.
